Terms of Service

These terms cover this website and the free trial you can request on it. Once your venue is set up on PlayVerse, the service itself is governed by the agreement between your venue and BlankVerse Agency, which takes precedence over anything here.

1. The trial

The trial is one month, free, and does not require a card. We set the account up for you rather than leaving you to configure it, so there is a short gap between asking and getting your login.

A trial is for a real venue evaluating the software. We may decline or end one that is being used for something else — testing our defences, scraping, or reselling access.

2. What happens when the month ends

We will tell you before it does, and you decide whether to continue. We do not start charging automatically, because there is no card on file to charge.

3. Your account and your staff

You are responsible for who you give logins to and for what they do with them. PlayVerse separates staff and admin roles precisely so you can limit that — use it. Tell us promptly if you think an account has been compromised.

4. Your data

The operating data you put into PlayVerse — your sessions, sales, members, prices — is yours. We process it to run the service for you. We do not sell it and we do not use one venue's numbers to advantage another.

5. What this site says

We try to keep this site accurate, but the figures and screens shown in the product animations are illustrative — they come from a test shop, not a real venue. Nothing on this page is a guarantee of a particular result for your business.

6. Availability

We work hard to keep the service up, and it is used to run live venues, so we take that seriously. We cannot promise it will never be unavailable — for maintenance, or because something upstream of us fails.

7. Ending it

You can stop using PlayVerse whenever you want and ask us for your data on the way out. We may suspend an account that is not paid for, or that is being used in a way that puts other venues or the service at risk.

8. Changes to these terms

If these change we will update the date above, and we will tell existing customers directly about anything that materially affects them.
